This weekend was full of Halloween fun! On Friday we had some friends over for some BYU football and fun. Matt and I made corn dogs and guac. It was a good time having all of our friends squeezed into our tiny apartment! Then on Saturday we went over to our friends Jeff and Kim's house for their party, it was so fun and Kim was super creative with the snacks. She had eyeballs( peanut butter dipped in chocolate),celery that looked like mummies, candy corn cake, and black and orange tortilla chips! We played fruit bowl a fun game where you get hit with a rolled up newspaper. And their son Jacob was cute in his Buzz Lightyear costume. Tomorrow I'm gonna dress up as a gypsy for school and participate in a parade for the whole elementary school! I can't wait to see my 4th graders dressed up and celebrate with them! I love my little class!

Until we get to go to Virginia! Today marked the start of the second block of the semester. Matt and I have been taking Midterms( mainly matt but I took 1). Next Wednesday I start working with my 4th graders until Thanksgiving. I'm so excited/nervous! I can't believe that I'm getting so close to graduation 11/2 semesters is all that's left!

We have already started listening to Christmas music in the Starliper apartment and tonight I finished my wish list. I cannot for the holidays to get here!

5 months

Yesterday marked 5 months from the BEST DAY of our lives so far. I made peanut butter stir fry for dinner and then we went and got milkshakes from the malt shop. We normally don't make a big deal out of our monthly anniversaries besides saying happy blank month anniversary or I can't believe we have been married blank months. One tradition we do have is everyday after reading our scriptures and saying our prayer, we cuddle up and then we each say 5 things we love about each other, or things we were thankful for that our spouse did for us during the day. This is my favorite part of the day. I love being married to Matt. I love that we grow closer everyday. I love knowing that we are sealed in the temple and that we can be together forever even after this life. Living together in Provo is so fun and I can't wait for all the exciting  months ahead that we get to share together going to school and being in the happy valley.

Fall is...

Here! The weather is changing and it rained today. I'm getting so excited, it finally feels like I'm back in Provo and it makes me so excited for the upcoming holidays especially Halloween. This has been a fun week in my classes, on Monday we had to make a tower out of gummy candies and tooth picks and then today we had to did a questioning activity with huge ice cubes aka frozen water balloons. After class my teacher let me and some classmates break them by throwing them at the ground and dropping them down a staircase. It's fun being an el ed major. I also just checked out 5 children chapter books. I'm in heaven.Matt's been SUPER busy with school,so send him some positive energy his way. Oh 81 days until Christmas! Woo hoo!

So we just got a wonderful TV from my Starliper dad, and we LOVE it! Since the t.v. is bigger then our t.v. shelf we had to rearrange our living room a little bit. It's more cozy now. I got a haircut but that is old news,but Matt also got a haircut! We just bought some clippers and Matt picked out the clippers and I did the cutting. I guess I should have had more of a say it what clippers he was using,because now he is a little baldie at least he is a cute one!  We had a great weekend full of time together and great messages from conference. We are busy with school and we cannot wait until Halloween is here and we can party! Matt also has a new favorite band... my friend's band Crazy Talk.
