I have seen the idea of anniversary photo sessions on pinterest and I couldn't wait until our one year when we could take pictures. Allie helped style us and took the pictures! It was the perfect weather up in provo canyon by bridal veil falls.

Happy Birthday Matt- 24

Today is Matt's birthday! We started the day off by having biscuits and gravy- Matt's favorite breakfast. Then it was time for presents, he got 3 new pairs of slacks and a polo. He'll be looking great when he interns at PWC this summer! We're going out to dinner tonight and I made a golf inspired cake for his birthday! Happy Birthday babe! I love you.

I have always loved having parties, going to parties, and planning parties. So when I found out that one of my best friends and ex roomies was getting married, I decided to use my love of parties to throw her a bridal shower. Marah is very laid back and I think the party matched her style perfectly.

One Year Anniversary

While in Virginia Matt and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary! Marrying Matt has been the decision I have made and I fall more in Love with him more and more everyday! I am so grateful for Matt everyday and I can't wait to celebrate many more anniversaries with him.

Our anniversary fell on Mother's day this year,so Matt and I went out to a romantic dinner at chipotle and then went to see the lucky one on Saturday night. On Sunday mom star planned a three part party. One part Mother's day, one part our anniversary, and one part Matt's early birthday party! We ate yummy sausage and got fun presents! We got a GPS,pictionary, cook books, and money!

VA Trip- Nate's Graduation and Chili Cook Off

On Friday May 11th, we drove to Richmond,Va to see our brother Nate graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University. He graduated magna cum laude with a major in electrical engineering. We had a great time celebrating!

The next day we went to a local radio station's yearly fundraiser. They host a chili cook off and have a stage where big names in the rock world perform. We were excited to see the Neon Trees a band from Provo! It was not our usual scene,but we enjoyed ourselves. A bonus was we got a sunburn that turned into a nice little tan!

I have some really good friends from ashburn,va. I thought the name was funny and slightly inappropriate.

Virginia Trip- D.C. Zoo and Georgetown Cupcakes

Matt and I have had an awesome start to our summer. First we went on a wonderful Mexican cruise and then we went to see our Starliper parents in Virginia. Since it was such a wonderful trip and I took a lot of pictures, I'm gonna do multiple posts about this vacation.  First up we went to the D.C. zoo! I loved that it was free and the weather was PERFECT! We spent most of the day at the zoo,but we ended the day by going to georgetown and getting the famous cupcakes! They were so delicious and the store smelled heavenly. Enjoy the pictures!
