Carnival Splendor

Matt and I just got back from the best week of our lives! We went on a 7 day cruise to MEXICO!  Hands down the most relaxing time we have had in a long time. The beaches at Cabo san Lucas were beautiful with crystal clear water! We had a wonderful time swimming!  The second port we visited was Puerto Vallarta and it is in the same state as his mission, so he enjoyed touring the city and going to the local markets. He made a few mexican friends while we were there- they were so happy to find out the he spoke fluent spanish and this helped us get some good deals on souvenirs! We also ate his favorite Mexican food tortas ahogardas and we shared horchata and aqua de jamaica. We also made friends with a couple that lives in Provo and we enjoyed spending time with them while on the ship. All in all we had a great time and cannot wait until we have another opportunity to cruise!
