Quick Trip to Texas

We just got back from a great trip to Texas. Texas is still home to me so I love any chance I get to visit! We decided to go the weekend we did, because the State Fair was happening. I haven't been in years and Matt has never been so we were excited to have this be a part of the trip! Since it was also general conference weekend we had to go on Friday since that was our only full free day. We were only in Texas for 3 full days and we made the most of it!

Cooper's 5th flight
Meeting Bear cat
Coop was not a fan of me getting a haircut. Thankfully the stylist didn't mind me holding him.

I got 4 inches cut off and a deep condition and it is seriously the best hair cut I have ever had
Taking a nap between sessions

Disney and Cubbie do not know how to watch conference
Aunt Jessi
He was so cute watching conference
Coopie and Cubbie
This little boy just started playing with Coop at the airport
The flight home was the worst flight we have ever had. First we were delayed 45 minutes in Dallas, because of a mechanical issue. We had an hour layover in Charlotte, that we would probably miss now,but we decided to risk it. When we landed we had 10 minutes to book it over to the gate. I was literally running while holding Cooper through the airport. Only to get there and the door was closed and no one was around. Suddenly the door opened and I told the lady we were on this flight and she said she wasn't missing any passengers ,because we booked a morning flight just in case while in Dallas which must of taken us off of this one. They did had 2 seats together in the last row and they were waiting on a doctor so they allowed us on,but everyone gave us death stares as we made our way all the way to the back. Cooper had slept the 2 hours from Texas since we had left later and decided he wanted to be awake the whole hour flight and screamed for a good third of it. He just couldn't fall asleep. I felt so bad for him. We learned that we will be avoiding flying at bed time at all costs from now on and no more layovers if we can help it. Flight #6 - 2 thumbs down.

7 months

My baby is 7 months! He is officially crawling, he doesn't like his knees touching the ground,so I think he'll be walking soon. He can pull himself up and we had to lower his crib because he was sitting up one day after his nap. He has his 2 bottom teeth and wants to chew on everything. He is still a great nurser and we are trying to feed him more solids so hopefully we can fill him up more during the day so he will sleep through the night. He went a week without spitting up so now it's almost surprising when he does since it's so rare now. We also learned that we will not be flying during his bedtime ever again. He screamed cried the whole flight! We are still figuring out sleep; he goes to bed exhausted but then will wake up anywhere from 1-5 times before 1 am, his 5 hour point where we will nurse him.He seems to like sleeping in and sleeps until almost 10 most mornings. The 8 to 1 period is super tough so hopefully we can figure something out. He is just so adventurous and wants to get into everything. This is a fun stage!
