Trip to Utah- Logan and Salt Lake

Matt had an accounting conference at BYU and I don't like being left at home so I tagged along! It was such a fun week and we were able to see some many friends and visit with family. I didn't know I was homesick for Utah until we landed and I saw those beautiful mountains up close again. We visited Logan,Provo,and Salt Lake. I have a special place in my heart for Utah and I hope we will get to visit there many more times over the years and hopefully Cooper will want to attend BYU one day! The only bad part of the trip was flying! We changed time zones twice and we had a layover. Coop did pretty good,but it is getting harder trying to contain a mobile little boy in such a small space! We celebrated Charlie's 5th birthday with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Party! Cooper's cousin sure love him and they loved playing with him. My nephew Tucker even asked if the next time we move if we could move closer to them! It was so nice seeing them and I don't know when we will get to again so I'm glad we stayed with them and got lots of time with them on this trip!

Cooper's first Halloween

This Halloween was so fun! Holidays with babies are the best! We call Cooper on little monkey so I knew that is what I wanted to dress him up as. I also wanted Matt and my costumes to go along with Coop's so we decided to be a banana and explorer/Jane Goodall. I loved how our costumes turned out! I was in charge of the Ward Halloween party this year too. We had a chili cook off and played carnival games and did a trunk or treat! Our trunk won best trunk,because Matt is creative and always likes to play a trick of the trick or treaters. This year he had the spider's lair and dropped a spider when they reached for candy! We also went to chipotle for the $3 boo-rito and we were amazed at how fast the line went! We only had 3 trick or treaters so we had plenty of extra candy to enjoy!

The week of Halloween at playgroup we had the kids wear their costumes. I love all these little animals! We had a Duck,Owl, Monkey and Lamb. Coop was so interested in Lillie's costume and was touching her wings in almost all the pictures.
