12 Dates of Christmas

This year I decided that I wanted to start a new tradition for the Christmas season. One blogger I like had done the 12 dates of Christmas before,so I thought I would try it out this year. It was really great planning the ideas and going on the dates! Even though we changed some of the dates it was still fun. I enjoyed making time everyday to do a quality activity with Matt and it really did prepare us for Christmas. I cannot wait until next year to see what Matt comes up with.

 Date 1:Making cinnamon ornaments

Date 2: Holiday Baking

PB cookies with a kiss,Buckeyes,Peppermint puppy chow, dipped strawberries,and fun fetti cakies

Date 3: Dinner and a movie

Date 4: Chipotle and Temple Square Lights

Bonus: We decided to open our gifts to each other since we were leaving for Texas the next day.

I got a snack display (Matt made) and a large mixing bowl. We try to do a homemade and a bought gift every year for each other.

I made a silhouette of one of our engagement pictures and gave him a cupcake shirt
