Candy

On March 26th we got a new car. This is very exciting but also very sad. Sad because I had to trade in my CRV Candy. I got Candy for my 16th birthday (thank you mom and dad)! So I had 9 years of memories with her. She drove me around when I was a teen in Texas. My mom and I drove her to BYU for my freshman year and I made the trip between Utah and Texas 3 times. She also drove Matt to the temple to marry me and we drove her on our honeymoon. We drove her to Virginia for our reception from Texas. Her last long distance trip was from Utah to Massachusetts. She was a fantastic car and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm so thankful one of her last trips was bringing my baby home from the hospital. Candy was a 2000 Honda CRV so when I got her she was already 6 years old, we put a lot of miles on her and she just wasn't keeping up with our driving demands anymore and was having mechanical issues every few months and it just wasn't in our budget to keep replacing and repairing her every other month. So we traded her in as the down payment on a 2015 Toyota Rav 4 that we are leasing for 3 years while we live in Mass. We are really enjoying having a brand new car and not having to worry about car problems anymore. Here are SOME of the many pictures I have of Candy!
