On April 12th, my cousin Dustin and uncle Jimmy died in a fatal car accident. I cannot think about them without crying. They are survived by my aunt Sharron and cousin Laney.
Dustin is my younger cousin and growing up it was sometimes hard to want to play with a boy who was so much younger than me. But as we grew up he became one of my best friends. I'm so thankful that he also became friends with Matt. There are so many positive things that I can say about Dustin, he really had everything going for him. He was fiercely loyal to his family and just the nicest guy. There is definitely a hole in my heart from missing him.
My uncle Jimmy was a talker and he always had a story to tell. He also had a heart of gold and always took care of Matt and me and was very generous.
I'm so thankful for the knowledge that families can be together forever. I know that I will see Dustin and Jimmy again one day. I know that they are not suffering and they are doing the Lord's work on the other side of the veil. Until we meet again.
