Declaration of Love

I love my wife Kayle with all my heart. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love to be with her and share my life with this beautiful daughter of God. I am the luckiest man in the world. I am so grateful that we will share eternity together.

Lovely weekend

Friday:
Our friend Taylor turned 19 on Friday. So he rented a limo and we cruised around SLC. It was Matt's first time in a limo, so he enjoyed himself. We made a stop at cheesecake factory and got some delicious cheesecake. We had fun hanging with all of our Texas friends and celebrating Taylor's birthday.
It was also cool that we celebrated 11-11-11 @11:11.
Saturday:
After praxis, Matt was waiting for me outside the testing room. After driving home and me nonstop venting about how dumb the test was, I turn around after taking off my jacket and see a dozen roses and some chocolate. Even though Matt lied to me about what he was doing in the morning, I was happy he did. It was exactly what I needed. We celebrated our 6 months by getting some cafe rio and watching HP. Doesn't get better then that!
Sunday:
Was our actual 6 months!

Monday:
Matt and I made Christmas ornaments for FHE and started HP number 5, we're kinda having a marathon. We like series.3 days until Breaking Dawn!

Praxis

So yesterday I had to wake up super early to take the Praxis test at 7:30. I have to pass this test to graduate. The test is 120 questions divided equally into 4 sections: language arts, math, social studies, and science. It is supposed to be content knowledge based questions, but I do not know what elementary school learns all the things they ask us. They had economic questions, government questions, algebra questions, and some ELLs questions.I won't get my results for a month, but I'm hoping that I passed so I don't have to take this beast of a test again.

On a happier note Matt just got a 100 on one of his accounting tests! And his professor is loving the work he is doing for him!

We had a pretty awesome weekend besides the test so I write more later.

4th grade

I never thought that I would like teaching 4th grade, but I seriously love my 28 4th graders. I have 15 boys and I have a sweet spot for them even the trouble makers. One boy asked me if I was a Mormon. I of course said yes and then he asked me if I go to church. Again I said yes and then he said then you're good. Then yesterday I walked the class to the bathroom and was waiting for them to be finished, the first kids out were all boys so this same boy said boys rule and girls drool. I said excuse me? He quickly changed it to boys rule and girls drool except Mrs. Starliper and Mrs. White( my mentor teacher). My teacher has trouble remembering all the students name and especially mine, it's funny hearing her make up new names for me. And some of the kids call me Mrs. Starlip which is pretty awesome. But we were having a class meeting and I was calling everyone by their correct name and she said, Mrs. Starliper has really gotten your names done well. The class then replied yeah she should be the teacher and you should be the student teacher. She explained that she has almost taught for 20 years, and had close to 30 students every year so she has 600 student names always floating around her head, that is way she can mess up once in a while. The kids love that I'm from Texas and some are even Cowboys fans which is strange to me since they live in Payson Utah which is a little town. I love teaching them and getting to know them better, and I think they are starting to love me too.

P.S. I dressed up as a gypsy for Halloween at the school and most of them don't know what a gypsy is.
check out the sweet "S" Matt and I made in the background, we covered it in blue and yellow buttons.
 A closer look

P.P.S Matt and I are addicted to Twilight. We watched it 3 days in a row and were tempted to watch it a fourth day. We're getting New Moon and Eclipse this weekend and then going to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn on November 17th. CANNOT WAIT.
