Matt turned 27 on the 25th of May. He just keeps getting better with age, I'm seriously the luckiest. It has been so fun to see him become a dad, he is a natural with Cooper. Matt is a simple guy with simple requests,so for his birthday he wanted to grill out and wanted a cake. We also made a trip to Red Robin the week before for his FREE burger,but mainly we just hung out as a family. My present to Matt was a date to see The Avengers: Age of Ultron. I arranged for our friends to watch Coop so we could have go see the movie. It was a great movie and a treat to get some alone time together. I also got Matt Big Hero 6 and some movie treats. I love him and celebrating his birthday each year.

Coop Visits Texas

So I blogged about our flights, Coop's blessing, our beach trip, our anniversary, so these are the random other happenings of our time in Texas.

Anniversary Photo Shoot-Year 4

This year for our anniversary photo shoot we were excited to have Cooper in the pictures with us! We decided to take them at the beach.... we didn't realize how windy it was or how the humidity would affect my camera. But that's how it goes sometimes so enjoy the "best" ones of our family of 3.

First Beach Trip

While in Texas we were able to take a mini trip to the beach. We stayed in Baytown and it was a really nice city, I wish we had more time to explore it. The morning of the trip I got really sick and almost didn't think I could have made it,but luckily I felt better after sleeping and getting something to eat.  The beach was about a 5 hour drive away. Coop did great he slept the first 3 hours and then we stopped for lunch and he slept for part of the second half. This was his first road trip and his first time staying at a hotel.  All my sisters were able to make the trip so it was extra fun being together.
