Friday was the big day! Allie and Trevor were sealed for all time and eternity in the Houston Temple at 11 am on May 23rd. Allie came into the room crying happy tears and Trevor soon joined in! Both Trevor and Allie were so touched to see all their friends and family that were able to be there for their special day. The room was packed and there was a very special feeling in the room. Allie looked so beautiful in her white dress and so happy, I'm so glad I was able to witness this beautiful event. I really enjoyed what the sealer said, about finding the right person and marrying them in the right place by the right authority. I know Allie and Trevor followed that counsel. Allie's colors were gold, blush, and ivory. It was so fun seeing not just the wedding party match, but also all the family! I can't wait to see her pictures, they will be so beautiful! I also took some family pictures of Breanne's family, since they were looking so nice in their wedding clothes. After the sealing we headed over to Pappasitos for the luncheon. It was my first time going and the food was fantastic! We had unlimited chips and salsa and fajitas. I was so stuffed from all the great food! After eating we changed clothes and drove back to Dallas to get ready for the reception the next day.

Allie's Wedding -Part 2
Thursday we woke up early and drove down to Houston. Thursday was Allie's endowment session. She let me be her escort(guide). She was so nervous, so I tried my best to make the experience easy and relaxing for her. Here is a link about the Endowment session. She did a great job listening and just trying to understand the new things she was being taught. We had a family dinner at Carrabbas after. I was so excited to see my other nephews Tucker and Charlie. I love spending time with my family!

Allie's Wedding- Part 1
Matt and I just got back from our trip to Texas. It was a fantastic trip filled with lots of great memories! We were there for 10 days, so I'm going to do 3 blog posts about the trip. Up first are the days leading up to the wedding. We got in on Saturday and our flight was delayed for an hour, because of some computer issue, it was so dumb! Once we were on our way we had a great time. Saturday was spent catching up with my family and seeing my great aunt and uncle who were in town for the wedding. Sunday we went to church and it was so great being back in my home ward. I love being back in that ward, it really does feel like coming home. After church we took advantage of the sun and laid out by the pool. The weather this trip was in the 70s, so it was pretty perfect except it was a little chilly to go swimming. My aunt who lives in Florida kept telling Matt and I that we needed to get some color because we were so white!
On Monday we woke up and went on a run/ walk with my mom and Oma at a local park. It was so nice to be able to get some exercise and just enjoy each other's company. After the park we headed over to Whataburger- Matt's most go to place whenever in Texas. A few hours after the park my sister got into town with my littlest nephew Luke. She wasn't planning on coming, but after skyping the night before she couldn't stand to not be apart of all the fun happening in Dallas. My nephew Charlie was sad to not get to come, but he was told that it was a "women's week" and seemed to accept it. All the girls went shopping and afterwards, Allie Matt and I went to meet up with Trevor at Top Golf. I had never been before, so I was really excited to see what it was all about. It is a glorified driving range, where the golf balls have chips inside of them,so when you hit them towards different goals, a computer can read your ball and give you a score. I am terrible at golf! It was really nice for Matt to get to know Trevor more and to escape some of the wedding prep. We played for an hour and then Matt and I headed over to Jessi's house so I could get my hair cut by my cousin Sam. While Sam was trimming my hair, our husbands and Jessi went and got us dinner. One thing we really miss about Texas is all the great Mexican food. Jessi has two really good places by her house, a street taco place and a pupusa place. Both were fantastic! We also shared a delicious horchata. Yum!
Tuesday was chill day. We started the day by going to the temple to do some initiatories for some of Matt's family members. I love the Dallas Temple,so I'm thankful we were able to go this trip. After the temple, Matt dropped my off with my sisters and mom,so we could all get bra fitted. I was hoping since I lost weight I would go down a few sizes, but that wasn't the case I did go down a cup size and got a new bra, so that was good. Rest of the day was spent swimming with Allie and getting pedicures. I also went on a run with Allie and Breanne and it was so nice to be able to keep up with them! Breanne and I almost run the same pace,so that was a nice non scale victory!
Wednesday we had a nice lunch with all the Miller relatives that were in town for the wedding at Cheddars. That night we had a bridal shower for Allie. Her friend/bridesmaid Kelsey threw the party and it was perfection! It was so cute and everyone had a great time!

Three Years
We celebrated our 3rd anniversary on May 13th. We really want to go on another cruise when we can afford it,so we decided to keep this anniversary really low key. We went out to dinner at Moe's southwest grill. Its like chipotle just not as great, but they do have free chips and salsa,so yeah pros and cons. Instead of getting presents for each other we started a cruise jar and put the money we would have spent on gifts in there. Matt did get me flowers, because that is non-negotiable. It was the perfect way to just celebrate being married for 3 years.
The Saturday before we went to the temple to see a couple in our ward get sealed and it was so special to witness their love and commitment to each other after 6 years of being together and going through a who lot of trials to get to the temple. It was also special because we were able to reflect on our sealing and be reminded of how great it is that we can be together after this earthly life.

Last days of school
The Friday before I left for Texas was my last day as a MCAS tutor. It was so hard to say goodbye to my cute third graders. There was a really special feeling in our classroom this year and I'm so glad I was a part of it. We started with 19 kids and ended with 7. The reason my classroom was added was because there was a huge influx of homeless kids and we needed more classes to accommodate them. Throughout the year all of the kids that were homeless found homes except one. He had been a hotel room with his 7 siblings since September, finally in May he was moved to another shelter out of our district. He was told there was no room for him at the school, so they are busing him back to our school. He deserves so much more and I'm glad he had a home in our class this year.
These pictures are all from the month of May. We celebrated teacher appreciation week, math MCAS, and my last day.
